I think it begins with something like Lee Iverson's NODAL, where one
can *first* create addressable nodes of content. Upon that one needs
the ability to characterize those nodes according to various maps,
the first being perhaps by subject, others being by whatever
organizing principles are needed in a specific application. Alex
Shapiro's latest message discusses that, so I think I'll tackle the
