As promised at the end of Session 5, here are two possibilities
for implementing a first-version Open Hyper*Document* System /
DKR. It's in pseudo-IBIS format, where:
  Q=Question
  A=Alternative (masquerading as an "Answer")
  P="pro" (supporting argument, argument for)
  C="Con" (objecting argument, argument against)

Q: How should we build the initial system?

  A: Augment front-end
    --P: utilizes existing work
    --P: small amt of add'l development
    --C: May overload server
    --C: May not take full advantage of latest
         standards (XML, XLL)
    --C: Hard for others to build on

  A: New/Open system
    --P: Usable by *every* open source effort
         without requiring an Augment implementation
    --P: Lets others build client apps
    --P: Redevelopment with todays tools will
         take a fraction of the time
    --P: Performance improvements
    --C: More coding and debugging to do
