I definitely agree. Because of this, I also think that starting with
e-mail as the basis for bootstrapping is a better approach than starting
with a Squishdot/Slashdot system, as will hopefully become apparent when I
write up a brief e-mail/OHS narrative.
However, it shouldn't be too difficult to write an e-mail->Squishdot
gateway, and to modify Squishdot to e-mail out new messages (if it doesn't
already support this). Since I'm the one complaining right now, if we do
go ahead and use this system and I find the interface annoying enough,
I'll go ahead and do this.
