Business Operations 2

The Bootstrap Alliance (BA) is incorporating as a non-profit 501(c)(3) in the State of California. American Technology Alliances (AmTech) has been retained to set up and manage the legal, fiscal, and business affairs of the BA. AmTech is a non-profit whose business is to facilitate the formation and ongoing business operations of formal collaborative alliances, largely for NASA. 2A

Member Services 3

Howard Rheingold, noted journalist and author of The Virtual Community, is hosting our members-only BA discussion forums on Electric Minds along with Doug Engelbart, guest moderator Patricia Seybold, and a host of others. 3A

The BA collaborative website, available throughwww.bootstrap.org, is running on a Netra 150 server from Sun Microsystems, over a twin T3 internet access channel provided by Internet Services Inc. The evolving suite of collaboration tools is being supplied pro bono by the respective software providers. 3B
