Benay:
At this point I ought to distinguish between (a) the objective editing
(including updating) of DKR documents by knowledge-management editors in
charge and (b) a contributor's personal wishes to make corrections, even
putting things differently. Case (b) editing is more of a face-saving
nature, trying to correct a bad impression an author perceives to have
generated. I might put it this way:
Case (a) editing is left-brain editing;
Case (b) editing is right-brain editing.
Would (should) DKR management allow for the distinction? Are feelings
respected? The answer to this question may well depend on what kind of
DKR is involved, or how public it is.
