One last thought on licenses. If we can't reach quick consensus on
licensing, one thing we ought to do is to get representatives from three
different open source groups, and have them do presentations on their
licenses, how it affects their organizations, the lessons they've learned,
and the things they'd do differently. That will give us all a better
perspective on how licenses affect projects, especially for those of us
who have not participated in open source projects. In fact, maybe we
should do this anyway before trying to reach consensus.

Perhaps Mark Mitchell would be willing to talk about the GPL. I could
probably get representatives from the Apache Software Foundation and
Mozilla to speak about their respective licenses.
