At the risk of sounding like Doug, I object to this claim. :-) I object,
because as I note in my paper, the key attribute to an OHS is
interoperability between applications, not the feature set. There are
many tools out there that implement the feature set, but pay no attention
to interoperability. I would call those tools "candidate OHS
applications," but I would not call them the OHS. (03)
I hate to be pedantic about this, but I feel like this has been the source
of a great deal of confusion about the OHS. We've all been guilty of it
-- heck, even Doug has been guilty of it. We, as a group, need to be more
disciplined about our use of terminology. (04)
