    The question is, basically, do you want 100% of a million dollar market

    50% of a billion dollar market? (The number one player usually captures
    50% of the total market. So if you're any good, you probably want to bet

    on a bigger market.)

    More importantly, do you want there to *be* a market? Augment
    disappeared.
    Why? Nobody else to talk to -- like a town with one phone. Sony's
    Mini-disc was a nice standard, but lack of competition has kept prices
    up and availability down. It's sure to die when some other standard is
    accepted. VHS survived after Beta-Max died off. But it could have been
    trounced if a different standard had emerged.
