I don't think you ever have. I, on the other hand, never have. So we
have been fundamentally miscommunicating about what we mean by a
"knowledge repository" for weeks, now.

I don't think what I've described in the requirements document falls
into the category of "trivially doable". It's not quite clear that it is
in the doable category, yet. I suspect it is, but a long proof lies
ahead.

I have been advocating an email interface, and an distributed data
model, similar to email.
I'm looking forward to seeing a knowledge repository one day. I have no
doubt that you will be instrumental in building it. But we need to be
very clear about the scope of the current project, and what we mean by
"knowledge repository", so we can be clear about what we are building.
