    Hello Engelbart-ers,

Those of you with nifty project like Alex's Touchgraph, might appreciate
knowing of an upcoming chance to meet with ONSET. One interesting topic to
ask Shomit could be how/if open-source can be managed for growth ... ...

I'm collecting input for topics people may wish to pursue with Shomit and
he would be happy to talk about a start-up's operational issues.

Ok, if some of you are in the entrepreneurial mode, now you have a chance
to check things out at this great event! Thanks.

Early and mid-stage high-tech entrepreneurs are invited to discuss their
start-ups and funding issues in a small, cordial group over breakfast and
receive feedback from our guest, SHOMIT GHOSE. Shomit joined ONSET Ventures
in 2001, after 19 years of working at high-tech companies in Silicon
Valley. During his career he participated in several successful IPOs,
including those of Sun Microsystems and Broadvision. Most recently, he was
Senior Vice President of Operations at Tumbleweed Communications, managing
the marketing, professional services and corporate development departments
after helping the company through a successful IPO in 1999. Since 1984,
ONSET Ventures has backed nearly 100 companies. ONSET invests in the
business-to-business market sectors of Internet/e-commerce products and
services; communications and networking; and medical technology.
