Abstract
Thomas Kalil, former Deputy Director of the National Economic Council
and Deputy Assistant to President Clinton for Technology and Economic
Policy, will discuss the history of the Clinton-Gore Administration's
policy towards information and communications technology. He will also
describe challenges that the current Administration and Congress are
likely to face, and ways in which the research community could expand
