It's been several days, and I haven't heard back from anyone about
this. This reaction to my postings is fairly consistent, so I'm
wondering what I can do to encourage some response?

I'll admit that I've been known to ignore postings from the uninitiated
on mailing lists but in this particular case I assumed the goal of the
    message would break past that.

So, still, if you have some input, it would be very much appreciated.
